The MTV VMAs - one of the biggest events took place this year on 24th August. Even though I love watching the whole ceremony, performance etc the most interesting thing is watching all the red carpet looks! Definitely my favourite outfit is worn by Nina Dobrev.

Review: YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Shocking Mascara

One of the most popular mascaras from YSL and you really want to hear something bad about it from me? Ok I admit at first I wasn't especially in love with it after using L'oreal False Lash Wings which I adore (review here) but in the moment I've opened it I was definitely intrigued. I'm not used to scented mascaras and in this moment I was so shocked (the first thing which is "Shocking" about it get it? Shocking mascara? Shocking? I'll stop...). The smell is amazing,  rosy if you ask me. And of course the packaging is beautiful, rose gold and elegant.
I'm not a big fan of not waterproof mascaras but after seeing the effect after applying it I was sold. I ust say after I've started to using this mascara I haven't used any eyeliner, eye khol or any heavy, black product. For me it really opens my eyes and makes them bigger when in real life my eyes is so small that you have to guess where they are!
The aim of this mascara is to exaggerate your lashes and give volume from every angle. If you prefer natural lashes you won't like it so don't spend your money on it. It's quite pricey I must say. But if you love big shocking lashes like I do, give it a go!

Style Icon: Blake Lively

Blake Lively is no doubt my main fashion and also beauty inspiration. She is so beautiful and if I had any chance to swap my look with anyone I would definitely pick her. Since Gossip Girl I basically admire her and yes I still am team Serena and Nate - a perfect couple if you ask me!

Neon Lips / Neon Eyes

Rimmel Apocalips "Stellar"

It's no secret that I'm a 100% neutral girl who is scared of trying crazy colours in general, especially on my face. No matter what I wanted to show you this trend which is becoming super popular and I've seen it in many many pictures - neon eyes and neon lips. It doesn't matter if you're blond, brunette, red hair with fair or darker skin you can rock on with a pop of colour!
Probably you're wondering why I mention it when summer is nearly over. Let me tell you that in every fashion show we can see a lot of bright colours. Dresses, coats, bags everything will be neon this autumn/winter. So why not put this fashion trend on your face?
I'm blonde and for me coral suits me quite well, as a nail polish, blush or even lipstick. That's why I picked up very bright coral lipstick from Rimmel which is totally out of my comfort zone but maybe somehow I'll learn to wear it and feel comfortable in it.

Fashion trend: All White

This trend is absolutely everywhere - on the streets, in the magazines and also on the red carpet. It's the classic white on white look. Easy to recreate, extremely fresh and elegant looking. If you're not so sure about rocking all white you can easily add a pop of colour (also if you're afraid to look like some kind of worker) or nude shoes.

I must say that I love looking at all of these pictures but I can't imagine myself wearing it. The main reason is that it's impossible to me to eat something without getting the food all over me! Also I think it's not so practical because wherever you sit you would see it on your clothes. And believe me you're not sitting in very clean places all the time even if you'd try. 

Personally I will stick to my all black or the monochrome style.
